Part of our discussion on "Angry Housewives" involved the history of our group. We didn't quite narrow down the exact year the club was formed. I'm guessing around 2001?? We also agreed we should be keeping better records, such as more details about why a book was chosen and maybe even what foods were served at the discussion. This blog is a great place to keep all this information so I will start us off..........
"Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons" by Lorna Landvik was chosen by Sharon. Sharon states she chose this book "because KG said it was good". Sharon served brownies (in keeping with a theme from the book), veggies and dip and I think taco dip?? Of course there was wine...............
The book received a rating of 8.5.
Johanna is next in line and has chosen "The Pact" by Jodi Piccoult. We hope to meet in early October on a Friday night. Happy Reading..................

Thanks, Kathy, for keeping this blog updated. I haven't visited it much, but think it's the coolest thing! I'll have to learn how to put my own profile on here...I think everyone else should too. I've started the next book, The Pact, and so far it is very good. I look forward to seeing everyone again. Book club is one of my favorite things to be a part of...thanks to all you cool girls!!
