Most agreed (mostly me) that this book took awhile to draw the reader in (it took me 2 months and 1 entire Sunday to complete it). But, after reading it, I have to admit - it was worth the time invested:-)
This book definetely brought about lively discussion..........the way the author was able to draw the scene so you felt a part of it; the emotions felt - anger, sadness, pity............this book has it all! Overall we rated this book 8.5 and would recommend it to other readers.

Hi all, well I didn't read cutting for stone...it was during my "excruciating pain" period and I couldn't concentrate. Anyway, I'm getting the next book from Jen and hope to get to this next book club. I've missed you all!!
Yeah Sharon!! I'm so glad you are on the mend:) We will plan to meet late July or early in August.
